Tube Options

Duda LED Tubes are available in both clear and white covers. We recommend the clear tubes for fixtures which have covers over them and the white tubes for fixtures which will emit light directly to the room. Clear LED tubes may strain eyes when looked at directly. However, they do have more light output and are usually not a problem if they are installed onto a high ceiling (in a warehouse setting)

Samsung Drivers

Duda LED tubes use samsung drivers. Samsung produces the highest quality drivers on the market. Their drivers are the most reliable and most efficient for LED applications. The high quality and performance will ensure that the LED tubes do not need to be replaced earlier due to premature failure and will still provide highly efficient light throughout their lifespan with little degradation.

Installation

Installation of our LED tubes will require some fixture modification. Any starters and ballasts should be removed. On our T8/T10/T12 tubes, the driver is built inside of the tube, so you only need to apply positive AC power to one side and the neutral/ground to the other side of the tube. This is easily achieved by cutting the wires to the ballast and applying the AC current directly to them to supply each end of the tubes in the fixture. Only one pin on each side needs to be used. 2 pins are provided to match standard fluorescent tubes and ensure proper mounting.

For the T5 tubes, the driver is mounted outside of the tube and supplies DC voltage to the tube. You will need to mount the driver to the light fixture, just as you would do with the ballast, and then connect the output of the driver to one side of the tube, and ground the other side of the tube. Just like with T8/T10/T12 tubes, you may re-use the wires from any previous ballasts for ease of connections. T5 tubes tend to be used in warehouse settings and may have the highest possibility of life since the driver is mounted separately from the LEDs. This allows for more heat dissipation and a longer expected lifespan.

*The warranty period on our LEDs is 2 years. The warranty period covers manufacturing defects. Defects in an LED are most likely to be discovered within the first few weeks of use.
